Mr. Daniels is a local businessman and long time resident of Walsenburg serving his 1st term of office.
He was elected in 2015 to the position of City Councilman representing Ward 1.His term expires in November 2019 and is eligible for reelection.
On December 18, 2018 he was selected to serve as Mayor Pro Tem, when Mr. Hoyt was appointed Mayor and reappointed when Mayor Lalander took office.
