Walsenburg Small Business COVID-19 Relief Program

The City of Walsenburg understand the challenges faced by small businesses in our community.  With that in mind, the City has established the Walsenburg Small Business COVID-19 Relief Program funded with CARES Act funding provided through the Colorado Department of Local Affairs.  Through this program, the City will provide up to $ 2,000.00 of funding to businesses that meet the following criteria.

The City of Walsenburg needs YOU to be a citizen volunteer. Bring your talents and strengths, and we will find something you enjoy. Asking only 2 hours per month, but of course you can always do more if you wish.

The Mayor’s office is located in the Train Depot at Heritage Park in Walsenburg,

10:00 am - 2:00 pm on weekdays.

Accepting Letters of Interest - Board of Appeals

The City of Walsenburg is accepting Letters of Interest for members of the BOARD OF APPEALS. Letters of Interest must be mailed the office of the City Clerk, 525 South Albert Avenue, Walsenburg, Colorado 81089. Open until to fill.

Applicants must be qualified by experience and training to pass judgment on matters pertaining to building construction and property maintenance. Applicants may not be employees of the City of Walsenburg.
